Merewether surfer Ryan Callinan is making huge strides at the US Open of Surfing, comfortably getting through his round two heat.
The goofy footer, who currently sits 10th on the world qualifying series rankings, took to the air and was rewarded for his efforts.
Progression beyond round three will see Callinan secure valuable points, in his quest to qualify for the world tour.
