There was a close call for residents on the Central Coast today, as a fast-moving grass fire threatened homes at San Remo.
Around 30 people were evacuated just after 2:30pm, as fire crews scrambled to contain the two-hectare blaze.
Thankfully, the fire was brought under control within an hour.
No one was injured, but thick smoke blanketed the area, well into the afternoon.
