Police have located a car linked to the disappearance of a missing Tamworth woman.
Johann Morgan, aged 40, was last seen by her family at her West Tamworth home on August 8.
A white Mitsubishi wagon which Ms Morgan had been using was found burnt-out on the Oxley Highway.
The car has been forensically examined.
Investigations have revealed Ms Morgan left home without her wallet and mobile phone, and hasn’t used her bank accounts.
She’s described as being about 165cm tall, with black hair and a medium build.
