MIXED WEEKEND FOR HUNTER CRICKETERS

It’s been a mixed weekend for our cricketers in the Women’s Big Bash.

Sam Bates and her Sydney Thunder scored a win over the Melbourne Renegades, then fell to the Melbourne Stars this afternoon, with Bates claiming a wicket in both games.

Corinne Hall and Maisy Gibson suffered back to back defeats, with their Hobart Hurricanes losing to Adelaide, then Brisbane today.

Gibson was the pick of the bowlers against Adelaide, with figures of 2 for 15.. then took 1 for 18 against the Heat.
