STAGE THREE OF THE PORT TO PORT HITS WINE COUNTRY

There was plenty of action during stage three of the Port to Port Mountain Bike event.
Today’s ride started among the vineyards of Mount View and wound its way to Richmond Vale Railway Museum.
Overnight leader Andy Blair limped across the line in seventh, seeing his lead fall to just 29 seconds.
Adding to HIS already impressive list of achievements, blind rider John Domandl completed the 52km course on a tandem with riding partner, Tony Brown.
Tomorrow’s final stage begins on the banks of Lake Macquarie, before heading to Glenrock and finishing at Nobbys.
