The Bulls are hoping to have their first night game in 10-years this season.
The club has received $100,000 from the state government to upgrade the 16 lights at Jack Neal Oval, many of which haven’t worked for more than a decade.
It’s hoped the money will be the first of many funding announcements in the near future, with the Bulls looking to upgrade the grandstand.
“Very, very happy, this is going to be a big facility for the Taree City Bulls, for the Jack Neal Oval and also for the community at large.”
The club expects the first night game to be played midway through the season.
