GET UP TARGETS SANITARIUM

Sanitarium at Berkeley Vale is one of the 150 major food companies lobby group Get Up has threatened to boycott if they oppose the carbon tax.

Get Up has sent letters to companies including Coca-Cola, McDonald’s and Nestlé, warning its 570,000 members would boycott the products of manufacturers linked to a scare campaign against the carbon tax.

A Sanitarium spokesperson today insisted the company is committed to reducing its CO2 emissions.
