ELDERLY PEDESTRIAN STRUCK BY CAR

An elderly man has been airlifted to hospital after he was struck by a car at Narara this afternoon. It’s believed the vehicle hit him in the driveway of a Pacific Highway home, just after 2:00pm. He suffered a fractured thigh bone and chest pain and was taken to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.   Image: Digi Crew

FIRE RIPS THROUGH ABANDONED BUILDING ON CENTRAL COAST

Central Coast firefighters have battled to contain another blaze, which has since been linked to squatters, in Gosford. Two crews were called to Keevers Lane just after 11:30 this morning, after smoke was seen coming out of an abandoned building. They managed to keep the damage to one room. It follows a string of fires across the region, including an inferno in an abandoned building at The Entrance last week.   Vision only.
