NEWCASTLE FAREWELLS JILL EMBERSON IN PUBLIC MEMORIAL

An ovarian cancer research scholarship will be established in the name of Jill Emberson, to continue her fight against the disease that took her life.

Described as a fearless warrior, a passionate campaigner and friend to all she met, the former broadcaster’s life and legacy were celebrated today, on what would have been her 61st birthday.
