Medical students in Tamworth today got the chance to hear firsthand from some of the region’s leading specialists.
Around 60 students attended the annual careers forum, to hear from 17 different doctors and surgeons.
“This really featured a lot of talks from a lot of different specialties going through all the pros and all the cons of working in those fields. And it’s good to kind of see the range of things you can do out there.”
Students also got the chance to ask a few questions of their own.
“I’ve been to this for the last three years and I think what it does is it consolidates my career choice, but it you know gives us a lot of information about alternatives, if we’re considering them.”
