HIGH PROFILE POLICE OFFICER SHOWN THE DOOR
A high-profile Tweed Police officer will be discharged from the force next week, after allegations of cocaine use.
Following a positive drug test in August last year, Detective Inspector Shane Diehm was stood down with full pay.
Professional Standards Command officers were tipped-off that Diehm and two colleagues had been using drugs during a farewell party for an officer at a Sydney Pub.
15 months later, charges are yet to be laid, although the investigation is ongoing.
