UNION LAUNCHES CLASS ACTION OVER TOXIC CHEMICALS AT PACIFIC HIGHWAY WORKSITE

Union officials have launched a class action on behalf of highway workers, who they say have been exposed to toxic chemicals uncovered from a truck crash near Port Macquarie in 1980.

The union has accused the government of a cover up, saying it knew about the buried materials a year ago.
