It was all about setting personal best times at Taree’s Lower North Coast swimming qualifying meet.

Some of the State’s young guns battled hard to earn their spot in major championships this summer.

Born and bred in the Manning Valley, Rob Douglas joined the Taree bureau in June 2021 after a short career in print media. He joined the Tamworth team in July 2023. Rob graduated from Charles Sturt University in Bathurst in 2016 with a sports journalism degree.
