Tamworth player Simon Furneaux has made a strong start at the PGA Championships at Coolum today.
With play still underway late this afternoon, Furneaux was sitting at one over par on the 14th hole.
The Tamworth golfer will be hoping to improve his swing following last year’s performance at the PGA, missing out on the final cut.
