Back to the mini-budget and the state government has announced it will shut down the Department of Primary Industries office at Glen Innes.
There are also concerns for other projects including the Tamworth Hospital redevelopment.
Big ticket items, including Royal North Shore, Newcastle and Orange hospitals were included, but there was no mention of the northwest project.
Member for Tamworth Peter Draper says he’s confident the funding is there, however the budget papers say some projects will be deferred.
A health department spokesperson says no decision will be made on those projects until it meets with the federal government within the next month.
The state government has included a regional assistance package, which includes a $52-million infrastructure fund.
