POLICE OFFICER ALLEGEDLY GRABBED BY THE NECK DURING VIOLENT ARREST ON THE CENTRAL COAST

A female police officer has been allegedly grabbed around the neck, and her male partner punched, during a violent arrest on the Central Coast.

It all unfolded at a Buff Point home, just before 10:30 last night, when the officers were responding to an alleged domestic dispute.

It’s alleged the officers tried to arrest a 35-year-old man at the property, when he became increasingly violent.

Additional officers were called the home and the man was arrested.

He was slapped with 13 offences and was refused bail.

Police will update the media later today.
