A man, believed to be aged in his 70s, has been hit by a car at East Gosford.
The incident unfolded on the Central Coast Highway near Webb Street, just before 11:30.
The man is being treated by NSW Amublance for head injuries.
Careflight has landed and is assessing the man.
Traffic in the area is heavy, drivers are being told to consider alternative routes.
