The North Coast is set to benefit from a $583m investment into the New South Wales Police Force from the State Government.
The Coffs-Clarence Police District will receive five additional officers this year.
Meanwhile, the Richmond and Tweed-Byron Police Districts will both have four more officers.
One of the Richmond officers will be a child protection register officer.
