TWO INJURED IN GOLDEN HIGHWAY CRASH
Two people are recovering in hospital after a serious crash involving a motorbike and a car at Jerrys Plains in the Hunter Valley.
Emergency services, including two rescue helicopters were called to the Golden Highway just after 3 o’clock on Monday afternoon.
Initial reports suggested a motorbike, with two people onboard, had collided with the rear of a trailer being towed by a car.
A 50-year-old man and a 55-year-old woman were stabilised at the scene, before being flown to Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital with multiple injuries.
