A 27-year-old man, who it’s alleged sexually assaulted a teenage boy who he’d met on social media, has been charged.
The man was arrested at a home at Buttai in the Hunter Valley on Thursday, as part of an investigation into the incident in December last year.
Police will allege in court he sexually assaulted the teenage boy, then aged 14, in a vehicle in the Hunter region.
He was charged with two counts of sexual intercourse with a child between the ages of 14 and 16.
