A 20-year-old man has been charged with murder, after the body of a man was found in a Scone home on Tuesday.
Earlier in the day, the 20-year-old presented to Muswellbrook Police Station and gave information which led officers to a Parker St house.
The man was arrested and taken to John Hunter Hospital to treat minor lacerations to his fingers.
He was refused bail and will face Muswellbrook Local Court on Wednesday.

A house in the Upper Hunter town of Scone is a crime scene tonight, after the body of a man was found inside.
Police are questioning a 20-year-old over the death.
