10 people have been charged with drug-driving offences in a targeted police operation in Newcastle over the weekend.
Another 12 people were charged with drink driving offences during the operation that targeted early morning drink-drivers in and around the Newcastle area.
More than 350 random breath tests were conducted and police are expected to conduct similar operations over the upcoming summer months.
