TESCH TALKS FISHING TO HELP SNAG VOTERS

Hoping to hook some more votes, Labor candidate for the state seat of Gosford took her campaign to Woy Woy Wharf today.

Liesl Tesch calling on the government to re-think planned changes for the fishing industry that could see it cost more for fishermen to remain in the industry.
“Regardless of whether this is an election issue or not, there is not a huge number of fisher families in the community but it’s a really important part of our economy and it’s part of- I don’t know it’s part of our community.”

All that campaigning clearly giving the former Paralympian an appetite, Ms Tesch not hesitating in sampling the catch of the day.

Meanwhile Liberal candidate Jilly Pilon declined to comment on her party’s proposed reforms.
