An elderly driver has died after their car crashed into a bus stop earlier today on the mid north coast.
Around 7am, police and emergency services responded to reports of a crash involving a Toyota Camry at a bus stop on the intersection of the Pacific Highway and Halls Road in Coffs Harbour.
The 77-year-old male driver was taken to Coffs Harbour Hospital, but he was pronounced deceased.
He was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
