The Wauchope community has rallied together in support of a woman who lost her home in the Pappinbarra bushfire.
Helen Riek’s five horses were badly burned in the fire – and sadly, only four survived.
Local vets have been treating the animals free of charge, but a donation page was set up to help with their ongoing recovery.
It’s already raised more than 19-thousand-dollars.
