A 14-month old girl has tragically drowned at Port Stephens at the weekend.
The girl was found by a relative in the backyard pool of a home in Medowie at about 4.15, yesterday afternoon.
The toddler was taken to John Hunter Hospital, but couldn’t be revived.
Police are investigating and a brief will be prepared for the Coroner.
