Three people were taken to John Hunter Hospital following a brawl at a birthday party in Sandgate last night.
Police say up to 15 people were involved in the altercation, outside a hotel on Sandgate Road, after some patrons were escorted from the premises.
One person suffered a suspected broken jaw.
An 18-year-old man has been charged – police are attempting to identify all those involved.
