Police have seized a scaly suspect at Singleton, in the Upper Hunter today,following reports it may have eaten a small dog, and attempted to constrict its owner while he was asleep.
The 2.3-metre boa constrictor will be euthanised, while the owner is expected to be charged with possessing an exotic species without a licence.
