Schools from as far north as Tweed Heads travelled to Port Macquarie today, for the annual Lismore Diocesan Netball Championships.
It’s a major event on the schools sporting calendar.
“Our local HVNA Association provides really strong competition for all the local girls and they will often be around the area as well, but certainly this is definitely up there with the big competitions,” Mackillop College’s Andrea Huxley said.
Port Macquarie’s Mackillop College and St Joseph’s won the junior and senior divisions respectively, while St John’s Woodlawn took out the intermediate division.
