Police are appealing for people to come forward, who may have had items stolen from their cars at the University of Newcastle.
On Friday April 8, officers arrested two men at Hamilton train station who were allegedly in possession of stolen items.
Police believe they came from cars parked on Ring Road within the university grounds.
The pair was questioned and later released.
