The body of missing surfer Joshua Dixon has been recovered near Crusoe Island on the Gold Coast.
Concerns were first raised yesterday when a fisherman at The Spit reported that a surfer failed to resurface after going under a wave at a Gold Coast beach.
An extensive search was launched, and police confirmed the missing person was Mr Dixon after locating his vehicle in a nearby carpark
Search and rescue crews recovered the 34-year-old’s body this morning about 11am. The death is not being treated as suspicious.
