A 29-year-old man has been hit and killed by a coal train in the Hunter Valley.
The Aberdeen man’s body was found at about 1:30am, beside the tracks near Scone.
Police say the death may be a tragic case of misadventure.
The train’s driver has undergone mandatory blood and urine testing.
