COUNCILS BACK GLOUCESTER IN MINING ISSUE
Calls for the state government to buy back AGL’s mining exploration licence in Gloucester, are gaining momentum, with a group of local councils voting unanimously to lobby the state government.
The Mid North Coast Regional Organisation of Councils has agreed to send letters to the Premier and Minister for Resources Anthony Roberts.
It follows growing concerns about the impact the gas exploration project has had on residents in the nearby town of Gloucester.
