Students from across Newcastle have come together for a belated ANZAC commemoration.
The 60th Combined Schools service had to be postponed because of last month’s wild weather.
Today more than 1,400 students packed Civic Theatre, to honour Australian Army nurses who served during World War One.
Wreaths and poppies were also laid, as part of the special centenary event.
