FAMILY LAUNCHES FUNDRAISER AFTER ALLEGED HIT AND RUN

The family of 56 year-old Kerrie Edwards, who was seriously injured in a hit and run on the Central Coast last week, has started an online fundraising campaign.

The ‘Support for Kerrie’ Facebook page aims to raise money for medical costs, with Ms Edwards possibly facing long term spinal damage.

The grandmother of three is reported to be in “high spirits.”

A 24-year-old Budgewoi man has been charged over the incident and will face court next month.
