A motorcyclist is in a serious but stable condition after a collision with a car in Newcastle.
It happened just after midday, the 55-year-old rider was thrown from his bike on the corner of Hunter and Brown streets.
He suffered pelvic and leg injuries as well as multiple cuts, and was taken to John Hunter Hospital.
Police are looking into the cause of the crash.
