Police are appealing for information after a 13-year-old girl was approached by a man at Brooms Head, near Grafton, yesterday.
About 3:30pm, the girl was at Back Beach with her father when she went for a swim.
As she got out of the water she was approached by a man who wanted to take a photo of her. The girl refused and grabbed her belongings and ran back to her father.
The man ran off through the headland where he was seen getting into a dark blue hatchback with red p-plates on it.
He has been described as being aged in his 30s, 180cm tall with a thin build.
