Police have used DNA evidence to charge a 43-year-old man with sexually assaulting a teenage girl at Umina Beach 12 years ago.
Brisbane Water Detectives arrested the man in Narawee yesterday.
He’s accused of sexually assaulting a then 15-year-old girl on the beach at Umina in 1991.
The man’s been refused bail to appear in Burwood Local Court tomorrow.
