12 people travelling from Queensland to Sydney have had a lucky escape, after their coach caught fire at Nabiac on the mid north coast early this morning.
Just after 2am, the driver noticed sparks coming from the engine bay, and evacuated the bus before it burst into flames.
Fire crews took just under an hour to control the blaze, which caused more than $250,000 worth of damage.
The driver suffered minor burns to his right hand.
