Former mining buffer land is being given a fresh purpose – as a solar farm and battery storage system today broke ground in the Upper Hunter.
The project, on Muswellbrook Coal Company land, forms part of the Hunter Central Coast Renewable Energy Zone, which is also starting to take shape.
