Parking, gambling and fossil fuels companies in the crosshairs at action packed council meeting

Newcastle Council has backed the idea of fossil fuel companies compensating households, and local governments, in the wake of natural disasters.

The endorsement was among several issues weighed up by decisionmakers last night.
