A mother and son,have survived 10 days missing in isolated bushland north of Singleton. A search was mobilsed just four days ago when their parked car was located.
The 40-year-old woman and nine-year-old boy used leaves to collect water, shared a pair of shoes and removed ticks and leeches from one another during their ordeal… in the rugged terrain of the Mount Royal National Park.
They were found by searchers around 1pm today, and are reportedly in remarkably good physical condition.
