The home side came out firing in the first innings, scoring a run off a Mick Ashton fly ball.
A further three good runs in the fourth and eighth innings extended their lead.
The win further cements the Marlins in fourth sport on the ladder.
The two sides play again on Sunday at Springfield Baseball Park.
