Torrential rain and damaging winds hit Hunter and North Coast

Torrential rain and damaging wind has slammed the Hunter and north coast… with almost 100 millimetres falling in Kempsey, where roofs caved in and trees toppled.

A flood watch is now current, as a complex low pressure system deepens… parts of the Central Coast, among the worst affected.
