There’s been a tragic start to the weekend on the Gold Coast, with a man killed in a single-vehicle crash at Tallebudgera.
Police have been told the 47-year-old man was behind the wheel of a Mercedes Benz when it left the road and struck a tree just after 9 o’clock on Friday night.
The Pimpama man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigations are ongoing.
