Police are appealing for information following the death of a 37-year-old man who was struck by a vehicle which allegedly failed to stop at Harpers Hill in the Hunter Region.
The pedestrian was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, died at the scene.
Anyone in the area who can help identify the driver of a 2006-2009 Toyota Camry or Aurion on the New England Highway around 9.30pm on Wednesday night is urged to contact police.
It is believed the car may have damage to the front end and bonnet.
