MID NORTH COAST BOYS MAKE AUSTRALIAN HOCKEY SIDE

Two Mid North Coast hockey players will represent Australia in Europe next year, after being named in the under 16’s Australian All Schools team.
Taree’s Wade Harry was one of 18 players selected for the side at the national championships in Melbourne, despite issues with his achillies.
“Sort of happy to play down there, I had a few injuries leading into it so to be able to play the whole week and then get picked was pretty amazing,” the 16-year-old says.
Meanwhile Port Macquarie’s Brad Paterson was named as the side’s goal keeper.
