Concerns over Port Stephens quarry approval

A new rock quarry in Port Stephens has been approved by the Independent Planning Commission.

Disappointed locals argue more consideration should have been given to the big picture – with another two projects proposed for the area, prompting concerns the leafy spot could become a so-called ‘super quarry’.
