GOVERNMENT RAMPS UP FIGHT AGAINST PEST

The north west’s wild rabbit population has been put on notice, with the Federal Government sanctioning a new virus to help cull numbers.
The haemorrhagic disease will be introduced in over 600 sites across the country.
It comes after attempts to use a Calisi illness to infect over 70 sections of the New England electorate late last year.
It’s hoped it’ll reduce the estimated $200 million worth of damage the pests inflict on the agricultural industry per year.
