A woman will front Newcastle Local Court this morning, after allegedly stabbing a man to death in Tenambit overnight.
Emergency services were called to the home on Ronald Street at around 7.20pm last night, with reports a man had been injured.
The man was found in a critical condition suffering from stab wounds to his stomach.
Despite efforts of paramedics and police, the man died at the scene.
A 23-year-old woman, known to the man, has been charged with murder.
